Hear the Best Weekly New Music: WBOR has a Podcast!
Every week, the WBOR music directors Tauwan, Evan, and Karina will pick five of the best new songs from the many cds we're constantly recieving, and put these songs into about a 20 minute show. We'll give a little background on the music, and play the songs in their entirety. This is a great way to stay up to date with new music. Written reviews (though useful) will never be a satisfying substitute for actual listening.

What is a Podcast? Podcasts are all the rage these days - its like a radio show that is automatically downloaded to your computer, and can be played at your leisure. Imagine TiVo for the radio. For more information on Podcasts check this out: About Podcasts

Do you need an iPod? No! Often people listen to Podcasts on their iPods or other mp3 players (hence the name) but they can just as easily be listened to on your computer.

How do I sign up and listen?
All you need is to enter this address:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/wbor
into iTunes or other program.

Here are specific instructions for how to enter this address in to iTunes in 3 steps (for Mac and PC):

1. Open iTunes and click the "Advanced" menu. Select "Subscribe to Podcast..."

2. enter: http://feeds.feedburner.com/wbor into the window that pops up

Do I need Apple iTunes? No. iTunes is only one of the ways to listen to Podcasts. If you don't use iTunes, a popular alternative is called iPodder. You can get it here: http://ipodder.sourceforge.net/

Is this Entirely legal? Podcasts are so new that legal issues have yet to be sorted out. As such, download this podcast at your own risk.
