Hello! Welcome to the Ursus Verses website. On this site you will find links to information about our members, our history, our upcoming concerts, and our music.

We are relatively new to the collegiate a cappella scene, so we forgive you if this is the first you’ve heard of us! We’re working to change that and to get our name out into the a cappella world. Ursus Verses is a group of about sixteen co-ed college students who sing pop, rock, hip-hop, R&B, and jazz in the new collegiate style. Look at our “Members” page for information about our group members and photos of all of us, and check out “History” for more information about how the group was formed and what we’re all about.

We perform in a variety of venues: at Bowdoin for our fellow students, at private functions and weddings, and at other schools for invitational concerts. Check “Updates and Concerts” for upcoming appearances, and click “Contact Us” for information on how to get in touch with us.

We take great pride in our musical arrangements and our high-energy, fun performance style. Ursus Verses recently released our debut CD, entitled “Reverse the Urse.” We are very excited about this new chapter in UV’s history, and we hope you will take a moment to listen to some of our sound clips.
