Wolfe's Neck Farm - Home of the flow mile workout. Steeplechase Hill - 1200 meter repeat course that loops through a horse farm. Swan Island Nature Preserve - Nature, nature and more nature. Wild turkeys and deer abound. Merrymeeting Bay Canoe Race - Three miles of canoeing followed by an 8 mile run home. Bean's and Back - Grueling 18 miler roller coaster through the Pleasant Hill Farms. Hero Hill - 800 meters of 7-12 percent grade dirt road. The best hill in New England, bar none. Camden Hills - Character building. Popham Beach - Barefoot running on a beautiful beach 20 minutes from campus. U.S. Navy Base Golf Course - Soft turf and great terrain makes for fast mile repeats. Cemetery Hill - Great hilly site for tempo runs. Topsham Quarry - Topsham For Sure! Simpson's Point - 9.5 mile run with beautiful views of the bay. Highlands - 12 miler going through farmlands and along the coast. Town Commons - Beautiful trails near the Bowdoin campus Pickard Field Trails - Several miles of pristine trails surrounding the Bowdoin athletic fields and the field house |
