While I agree with the fact that some houses may be better to acquire than others due to more central locations, we should not be looking a gift horse in the mouth. Getting a house is important to Howard for establishing a presence and identity in the Bowdoin community. While a more central location would be optimal, it is highly unlikely. The house and house location should make no difference in Howard House itself. Rather, the programming and individuals in it should be what makes the house great. Any house Res Life gives us, we should more than willingly accept and be happy to have. Any house is better than nothing- a strong foundation begins with strong people, not the "best" house.
