Just browsing the Howard website (stellar job, John Meyers...) and thinking it would be fun to post something for the entire Howard family to see. (And I do apologize, John, that 90% of this message is non-howard related. It's mostly about me.
About Howard, first. I visited early in the semester. Very early. And from what I saw of Howard it was in decent leadership. My newly crowned Hyde-buddy house leaders testing their wings with some pretty amazing power and responsibility to continue the fabulous Howard legacy. By now their leadership must be well established and if the messengers flooding my Bowdoin mail mail server are any indication, they are doing an outstanding job. Though Howard activities may still appear "corny" or "cheezy" or "blatently non-alcoholic", it's nice to see that plans are being carried out. I wish I could be there to help carve pumpkins.
A little bit for the curious few who do know me... (and I'm aware that "curious" has more than one meaning... I'm still in Vermont. No mission call yet. I'm still dancing around like I have to pee, anxious as to where I'll be spending the next two years of my life. I miss Bowdoin terribly. Mostly the people and the ocean. But I have never once regretted my decision or had second thoughts. I can't wait to tell you all about it when I return and most of my friends are Seniors. That's all for now. I don't want John to seize my Bowdoin e-mail powers so I'll stop writing. But John - I want to see more pictures! Get crankin.
Goodbye everyone. Feel free to write me. Try to break through the stigma that I am a degenerate outcast from the Bowdoin circle. Everyone slap the polar bears butt for me and see if you can harness my old roommate James' raging hormones. A special "hey" to my would-be roommates in the Howard penthouse sweet. Stay in touch everybody.

until next time... Adrian.
