Howell House Minutes,

13th Howell House Meeting
Minutes, 12/3/00

a. Nada Coacktails. A thundering kudos to Hesper Schleiderer-Hardy and Alysia Wygant for an awesome event. The decorations deserved an award!
b. Midweek. Stacey did Ants on a Log last week, which went well. Hesper is doing Fruit Fondue...TODAY at 9 so come and get it...and get here early because when I came last year all the dip was gone. Good stuff.
c. hO-hO-Holiday Dinner. The Bring-Your-Professor theme is coming along, and it's happening this Friday. If you're not already signed up, call Justin and he might squeeze you in.
d. Holiday Crafts by Quinn. I've been seeing some of the stuff that you all made and they are so beautiful and authentic...as in, they look store-bought. :) Nice Job
e. TD and Chi-Delt; First-Year Impressions and other opinions. Most liked Chi-Delt for the wide social space and the better rooming situation (likelihood of 2-room doubles/more room space), and its proximity to Hyde--but its overall appearance is a bit "institutional." TD's rooming situation would be more tight, but it feels more like a house, has nice hallways and its location on Maine street between two other houses makes it a good choice as well. Our decision is due to Residential Life by Monday 12/11.
If you would like to have voice in the issue of where current Hyde residents will be living for part of next year, come to our next house meeting on Sunday and vote your choice.
f. Michael Kelsey. Stacey got in touch with Adam Cook, who said it will be a good $800 to get Kelsey to come--along with his hotel expenses for a night's stay in Brunswick. More to come on that in 2001. ^_^
