Howell House Minutes, 9/30/01

Recapped stuff:

• Everybody loves root beer floats. I bet even Brian Linton loves root beer floats. Thanks to Jed and Hesper for a lovely midweek...
• The dinner with Professor Jones went well- more in the works (see below).

• Another professorial dinner in the works for October 11, in conjunction with Maine Archaeology Month. Colin needs lackeys to help him with the details, so email him if you want to help. (hlecroy)
• We have spots in the vans for 8 or so people to go up to Bates for the Counting Crows concert, also October 11th.
• On October 20th (during the Fall Invitational Weekend) we're cosponsoring a dance party with the Afro-Am, at Howell. More details as that unfolds.
• "The Brazilian Ensemble" is coming to Bowdoin, courtesy of Todd Johnston et al. Brazil is where it's at, though I'm not sure when they'll be here..
• You've gotten the email about bowling- just a reminder that that's starting up in November.
• Aaaaand: Howelleen, which you've heard about by now. We need people to help out all week long, so please- please!- let Ana (aconboy) know if you've got some time. Think of it this way: I have to design a toilet. If you can help with anything, it'd be great.

          Liz has gone home for a few days to rest. Please wish her a quick recovery.
