Sunday's meeting was the longest and most long-winded I've ever been to, and the T-shirt design's still raging...There were a few other things discussed over the
course of the evening, as follows:

Midweek (thank you Res Life): the pizza was great; the Bodysnatcher's office picked up the tab, too. :)
Mystery Movie Night: After some thought, we remembered Clint Eastwood in In The Line of Fire; Ed's comments were the best (only?...) reason to watch it.
Capture the Flag (Colin LeCroy): took a while, but it was worth it. Hyde won handily...Howell was so underrepresented that non-affiliates were enlisted to bolster
the team.
Treasurer's report: Ancient receipts still keep turning up. Hopefully the last of them have surfaced, because the money seems to be gone (more on that in a moment).
At the beginning of the evening, we had $377.00 to spend on trifles and necessities for the coming school year. It was shelled out as follows:
$100 to subsidize the purchase of the mythical Playstation.
$50 for a Playstation game.
$75 on silverware, possibly dishes, etc., for the House next year. We apparently have a treasure trove of abandoned kitchenware in the basement, so we're holding
off on pots and pans for the time being.
$100 on speakers, after a drawn-out discussion. I really don't understand what the problem is, but my notes say that we decided it wasn't kosher to pay Quinn for
the receiver (for the sound system in the TV room) and have decided, for the time being, to just go with the speakers. If anyone has corrections/updates, please let
me know.

The remainder of the money- $52- went to buy more (one?) Playstation game(s).
I think that math's right.

Other stuff: the Kids' Fair is tomorrow; kudos to Justin Minihane for his lollipop tree idea, which everyone seemed to think would be the best idea for our
contribution (as opposed to spending $100 on cupcakes). Quinn is running it, as per the emails she sent out earlier.
The 'passing of the torch' ceremony to new House Leaders was going to be Sunday, but kind of got sidelined- look for more news soon.

Cutting-edge news (just got back in from Howell): Jill's midweek/senior bash looked like a lot of fun, and the strawberries were excellent. Congratulations to
everyone honored in the ceremonies tonight. Jeremy's shoelaces are probably still untied...Good luck with finals and have a frabjous summer; see you in August!
