“I think showcases became popular in the 80s or 90s because there were showcases in the movie sets during the 70s and 80s. They were movies about normal middle class families but they had very rich homes. We see these things in tamil movies and it makes us have a longing to buy new and better things for our show cases. We want it because in real life we don’t have it.”
