Student Organizations Oversight Committee

About SOOC

The Student Organizations Oversight Committee (SOOC) is responsible for reviewing charter submissions, chartering qualified clubs, and helping those clubs develop and reach their intended purpose. The ultimate goals of the SOOC are to 1) foster student leaders on campus and 2) enhance campus life through club programming and community building.

Essentially, the SOOC does the following:

  1. Charters clubs;
  2. Maintains the records and charters of those clubs; and
  3. Supports clubs
