Charter Review Process

New Charters

A Charter Review is requested from each new organization to complete our records of the organization including estimated budget, roster, and mission statement.

Established Charters

For an establish organization, the Charter Review Process is an annual reflection of the mission of your organization. the SOOC requires this process in order to verify that all chartered organizations are actively fulfilling their missions. This process allows organizations to assess their organization, direction, structure, and leadership.

There are several possible actions resulting from the charter review process. They include:

  • Approval of your organization
  • Change of your charter status
  • Assistance with revision of your mission
  • Revocation of the charter

The SOOC looks for clear missions, organized leadership, and appropriate use of the resources of the College. All organizations are required to undergo this process.
