Wall Street Workshop

When: Oct 2nd 8:30am-12:30pm
Where: Kanbar 107
What: food and finance

For our first major event, we hosted a professional consultant on campus to come and teach a weekend course on the basics of Wall Street. The course helped to provide students with the tools, language, and general understanding necessary to better involve themselves with the BCFS and its investment arm – Polar Bear Capital Management (PBCM). Perhaps more importantly, this course is also something students can put on their resumes which will undoubtedly help differentiate themrselves as potential employee / internship candidates. These programs usually cost students hundreds of dollars and are only offered at top-tier undergraduate universities. Thanks to everyone who showed up for making this event a sucess!
